Shop Manager - Marine Supplies

Job Summary: 

Camilleri Marine is looking for a proactive and customer-focused Shop Manager to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of our Marine Supplies retail division.

The ideal candidate will have a strong retail background, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for providing exceptional customer experiences in a technical sales environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Retail Operations
• • Oversee the daily running of the marine supplies shop, ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
  • Lead by example on the sales floor, delivering excellent customer service and product knowledge.
  • Supervise and support retail staff, ensuring high standards in sales performance and service delivery.
• Sales & Customer Engagement
• • Assist customers with product selection and provide knowledgeable recommendations based on their needs.
  • Ensure upselling and cross-selling practices are effectively implemented.
  • Resolve customer queries, returns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Visual Merchandising
• • Ensure products are displayed effectively to maximize sales and enhance the customer experience.
  • Keep shelves, promotional areas, and signage updated and in line with seasonal or campaign changes.
• Reporting & Coordination
• • Provide regular sales reports and feedback to the Operations Manager.
  • Collaborate with other departments (technical, service, and back office) when required to ensure smooth customer service and accurate product information.

1 year of experience in a similar position and excellent knowledge (good orientation) in marine products and equipment
