Job Summary:
Camilleri Marine is seeking an Operations Manager responsible for the end-to-end coordination and efficiency of daily operations across our retail, service, and technical divisions.
As an Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing inventory and stock management, coordinating technician scheduling, ensuring optimal shop performance, and driving operational improvements that align with our strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Oversight
- Lead and streamline day-to-day operations across retail, marine safety, and engineering divisions.
- Coordinate and manage internal workflows between the retail team, service technicians, and engineering staff.
- Ensure timely execution of client services and product delivery.
- Inventory & Stock Management
- Monitor and maintain stock levels across all product lines.
- Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely ordering and restocking of inventory.
- Implement stock control systems and conduct regular inventory audits.
- Team Coordination & Scheduling
- Develop and maintain a dynamic technician schedule that aligns with service demand and customer appointments.
- Allocate resources efficiently to meet delivery deadlines and project timelines.
- Support staff with clear operational guidance and problem resolution.
- Retail & Shop Performance
- Oversee day-to-day retail floor operations to ensure a smooth customer experience.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve issues promptly.
- Support the retail team in achieving sales and service objectives.
- Process Improvement
- Identify areas for operational improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Minimum 1 year of experience in the Maltese market in a similar position and with similar qualifications
